Our vision statement is “To Preserve the unique character of this 19^th Century river town as a community where residents seek to live, work, shop and play.”

Our goals and objectives include:

1. A recreated river front: pleasure boat access to Main Cross landing

2. Attractive, accessible streetscape; appropriate street lighting, unobtrusive trash containers and underground utilities.

3. Revitalized business; variety of practical service businesses, coordinated hours and sale, plan and promote festivals and holidays, low interest loans and grants.

4. Community Resource center; tourism publications, civic and business information for residents, historic preservation help.
